About Me
My name is Sadie and I am a Fulbrighter living and teaching in El Hierro, Spain for the 2018-19 academic year. I teach English in a public primary school and love singing, dancing (although not necessarily well), reading, and being in the outdoors.

I have a Bachelor's degree in History from Truman State University as well as a minor in Spanish, but I am always learning more! Last year, I was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant living and teaching in Madrid, Spain. It was a fabulous year and I met a ton of lovely people and really lived the big city experience; I traveled to 14 countries in 11 months, went on many a tapas crawl, and taught high schoolers about the United Nations.
This year, I am super excited to be placed in a very different place, a smaller community close to nature (both the ocean and the mountains, two of my greatest loves). I am also the only Fulbright placed in El Hierro, so it will be quite different than last year--a grand adventure!

Although I am a proud Millennial and I do technically have a Twitter account, if you have any interest in contacting me, email is the best way to get in touch.
